Aside from the fact that sizzling hot Mr.Pitt along with the lovely Cate Blanchett[my idol] were the main casts, the movie had a really good story line. Wait.. not really good, it was awesome. Told in a proper pace, the story was so mind boggling and intriguing that you care less if the freaking *beep* beside your sister's chair was eating popcorn like a starved hyena or if the person sitting behind you was trying very hard to squeeze his *beep*-ing smelly leg into tht space between the seats.

This movie is so special and unique, although adapted from a book written in the 1930's the story seem well fitting. Despite the awkward scenes of daughter Caroline on her mother's deathbed reading her Benjamin's diary.. other awkward scenes actually make the show really memorable.
"Have i ever told you i was struck by lightning 7 times? " [shows old fashion screening of someone randomly being zapped by thunder... several times in the movie]

Basically, the movie could have been written as a really cheesy love story, or from a really depressing-emo point of view. But somehow, the show managed to capture an almost perfect balance of its main themes. Live and death seemed like the mere changing of the weather. And in case u didn't notice, the news report during the hospital scenes are actually coherent with the mood of the story being read in the diary. Like how the weather changes.. hurricane moving away, hurricane turning back.. Don't kn0w if you'd noticed.. its quite easy to miss.

The makeup team did a great job. I still have no idea how they put Brad Pitt's ancient-ize head on to a child's body. It was.. freaky. Still, the parts i love most was probably one of everyone's favorites, the two lovers at their duplex home - before Daisy got pregnant tht is. And also the part where the pastor was performing his "miracle". Although it was rather insulting for a christian to watch, i couldnt help but LOL. It was really hillarious!

Ok, enough of getting emo, the show was awesome! hope u go watch it soon.
Long Live Mr. Cake!
